flying home today. i'm on england time so jetlag is gonna be the next hurdle to overcome. it's been a tough but really good & fruitful trip. when we got to the 24-7 chichester boiler room yesterday, i got news that my dad is ill... heart attack & then the discovery of cancer on his lung. hit like a ton of bricks, but the 24-7community there covered me with prayer, love & warm attention. lots of prayer & tears. one girl slept on the couch instead of her bed, just to be near me in case i needed someone to talk to in the middle of the night. yeah, that's how our 24-7 crew rolls.
When I got back to US tonight, husband had flowers for me at the airport... Laughably, they were fake flowers mind you, but flowers nonetheless... As for my son Jaxon, he had a 'Mom' tattoo on his forearm; the one with hearts & skulls. Now that's a classic Koons homecoming.
